SMC Series

The SMC series of drives allows stepper motors up to 9Amp RMS to be driven. Different communication protocols are available: industrial Ethernet (Sercos III, EtherCAT, Profinet, Ethernet-IP, Powerlink, Modbus_TCP), CANopen, RS485 Modbus_RTU and now also in Wireless and IO-LINK versions. In addition to the full range of all major fieldbuses currently on the market, this drive also features built-in uPLC, which, through 8 digital or analog I/Os, allows small programs to be created without the need for an external PLC. Using a stepper motor with an encoder, the Closed Loop function can be managed. Available in an IP65 housing version and an integration PCB version (IP42).
